Mini-MUD: 4-Week Pottery Wheel Intro Class (JUNE 2026) Dates: SATURDAYS - JUNE 6, 13, 20 & 27, 2026 (4 Weeks) Time: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM Instructor: Danica Drago This beginner-friendly, 4-week wheel throwing class is the perfect way to dip your hands into clay without a long-term commitment. You’ll learn essential pottery wheel skills: wedging, centering, opening, pulling walls, trimming, and glazing — and complete your first functional pieces to take home. Each class is guided step-by-step, so even absolute beginners will feel comfortable, while returning students can use the time to refine technique and build consistency. Includes: 4 weekly, 3-hour sessions (12 hours total instruction) ½ bag of clay (5 kg) Use of studio tools All firings and a selection of basic glazes Additional clay available for purchase if needed By the end, students will usually take home 3–6 finished pieces (depending on pace and practice).
