Azienda Agricola Cincinelli Mammolo Rosato
From a one-hectare plot of this rare Tuscan variety, with vines averaging around 15 years of age, Cincinelli’s Mammolo Rosato is a wine built on freshness, fragrance, and quiet charm. Grown on clay and limestone soils at around 200 metres, it captures a lighter, more playful expression of the grape. In the glass, it shows a soft, delicate pink... classic of Mammolo. The nose is expressive and inviting, led by floral notes with hints of underbrush and a scattering of small red berries. On the palate, it’s bright and refreshing, with a lively acidity that gives the wine energy and flow. There’s just enough gentle tannic grip to add texture, while flavours of raspberry and wild strawberry carry through to a clean, persistent finish. An original and effortlessly enjoyable rosé, light on its feet, but with enough character to keep things interesting.
