Stitched Leather & Brass Floor Lamp/ Denmark, 1950s

Description: An arched floor lamp with brass base and stitched leather stem. Likely made in Denmark during the 1950s, this wonderfully proportioned floor lamp has been refurbished with a new, custom shade. A conical shape in a lightly textured fabric that compliments the arched profile of this versatile floor lamp. This floor lamp has been rewired with a standard UK plug and woven, antique-style brown cord. There are signs of wear to the leather stem of the light which are commensurate with the age of the piece. The aged leather has a rich, even patina which is only enhanced against the warm brass base.
