A quality aromatic leaf with bright, herbaceous high aromas of hedgerows, warmth and sweetness - the damp leaves giving aromas of warm steamed greens, brewing a golden infusion that has excellent clarity, clean character and easy drinking with earthy notes and rounded flavours - providing a bright, nourishing and invigorating feeling. All locally & naturally grown (free from chemicals and without peat) - harvested by hand, solar dried & hand blended by Gathered & Grown, Ceri & Ben Richards on their sustainable and regenerative five acre family-run herb farm in East Devon. Establishing on this site in 2022, they are dedicated to growing naturally through such practices as no dig methods and are passionate about creating further wildlife habitats and enriching and increasing biodiversity. Their commitment to this approach has gained them local and regional recognition with multiple awards for sustainability. Common Nettle, Urtica dioica, is a herbaceous plant with a green and white flower that is part of the Urticaceae family. Originally growing across Europe, Western North Africa & Asia, spread now worldwide. It is one of the ancient herbs used for culinary and medicinal uses as well as textiles. Nettle is well known for being nutrient rich and aiding seasonal allergy symptoms and urinary health and act as a natural anti-inflammatory.
