Well - we wondered that as well - so this January we ordered over 160kg of fresh Italian ‘Moro’ blood oranges (from Sicily, if you were wondering) initially these oranges were destined for our ‘Fresh Blood Orange Gin’ however, in the process of hand peeling & juicing the oranges we realised there was something EVEN TASTIER we could make.. This ‘Rosso-Cello’ is made to the same process as an authentic limoncello, the blood oranges zests were soaked in British neutral spirit for 2 weeks, while the whole oranges were hand juiced.
