Stresa

Stresa is one of those Tulips that usually requires a winter coat to look at her in bloom. Stresa is one of the earliest-blooming Tulips: This strong and robust variety often comes around at the same time as large crocuses. Most Daffodils still have to make their appearance when Stresa is already present. If you want to get her in bloom together with some of your Daffodils, go for Daffodils Jetfire, February Gold, or Tete a Tete. You can also add white and/or blue Crocuses if you want to make it an even more varied mix. Now that I’m typing this, I think I will try that mixture myself… One of the photographs shows Stresa alongside Tete a Tete, with the addition of Scilla siberica Spring Beauty as the finishing touch.
