This pin was originally released in June 2025, as a part of the Bizarre Beasts Pin Club. The Port Jackson shark lives near the seafloor off the southerly coasts of Australia. They get their common name from Sydney Harbor (also called Port Jackson) where they were first observed. They have a pair of spines, one at the front of each of their two dorsal fins, which may be part of the reason species in their genus are often called “horned sharks.” The spines are pointier when the sharks are younger, and they anecdotally seem to be venomous. And maybe it’s a good thing that potential venom is found in their spines and not in their mouths, because that would be one strange bite. DETAILS Dimensions: 1.75" long (4.445cm) Double-pin posts and butterfly clasp Designed by Courtney Blazon Some very lucky recipients might receive an Uncommon or Rare variant of this pin.
