Split Turned Bench

The Split Turned Bench is a sculptural piece, using large-scale wood turning techniques. Its undulating timber seat, available in oak or American black walnut, finished in hardwax oil, rests on solid ‘buttered’ brass pedestals, creating a balance of weight and lightness. Natural grain patterns and markings are embraced, giving each bench a unique character. Originally designed for the Heal’s Building, it combines durability with refined contemporary design.
