Florence Knoll 2547M Rosewood Credenza with Nero Saint Laurent Marble

This is a '4-Position' Credenza, model 2547M, originally designed by Florence Knoll in 1961 as part of her innovative approach to commercial interior design. The elegant design exudes executive quality and clearly shows the influence of Mies van der Rohe on Florence's design philosophy. This is an early example of the cabinet in a five-drawer, two-door configuration. The piece is made of rosewood and features a Nero Saint Laurent marble top. The credenza is low, standing 25 inches tall, making it ideal for use as a TV or dining room cabinet. This credenza measures 74.75 inches wide, 18 inches deep, and 25.5 inches high. The marble top was original with the cabinet.
