Antique Edwardian Waring & Gillow Hall Cupboard

Please note that we no longer deliver into the centre of London This is a lovely Waring & Gillow oak hall cupboard Made by the renowned Lancastrian based firm of Waring & Gillow Ltd (the name plate inside the door along with impressed stamp above the open door) This wonderful oak piece is raised on a plinth base and features three rows of field panels with the upper row displaying carved linen folds beneath a decorative row of half-flute carvings capped with quadrant moulding Inside the hall cupboard there is a top shelf which is good for scarves, hats etc There are original brass hooks The upper features two brass coat hooks to the rear and a central triple hook suspended from the top To the rear of the door, a framed, square mirror plate Above the panelled door This is a beautiful handmade oak hall cupboard made by a renowned company in 1910 Perfect for hanging coats and storing hats and scarves In original condition Age 1920 Height 182cm Width 113cm Depth 46cm Please get in touch if you require further photographs If you wish to discuss anything in person, please refer to our contact details further down the page.
