Champagne Cuvee "La Grande Dame" - 2015 - Veuve Clicquot IOB
"I drank this Champagne today in Antibes, France, with some friends, and was pleasantly surprised. I hadn't been very enthusiastic about La Grande Dame lately, but the 2004 marks a return to the finesse and balance of the cuvée. A balanced yet dense Champagne, with notes of dried apple, pear and a hint of bread dough. Very present apple, with hints of lemon and delicate strawberry undertones. Full body, lively acidity and a rounded texture. Refined and tasty. A little sweeter than some Champagnes, but delicious. One of the most balanced vintages of La Grande Dame."
