The St. Amour la Gagère comes from 0.5ha of 55 year-old vines and undergoes a ten-day maceration and is then aged for six months in concrete vats, retaining the wine’s intrinsic freshness. This is not a wine for long-term laying down and is just simply delicious in its youth. 100% Gamay 2024 - 13% abv Laurent Perrachon and his wife, Martine, run this impeccable 23 hectare family domaine, now with the help of their two older sons, Adrien and Maxime. These are traditionally made, serious wines that have great terroir integrity, where the vines are an average of 45 to 60 years old. Long fermentations and indigenous yeasts are par for the course.
