This suspension kit is built to securely mount a dehumidifier in crawl spaces, basements, or attic installations. When attached horizontally to floor joists using the included brackets and eye bolts, the system is rated to support up to 200 lbs. Elevating the unit can improve overall air circulation by positioning the dehumidifier higher within the space. It also provides additional pitch for gravity-fed condensate drainage lines, helping improve water flow when draining without a pump.
