Join local queer artist Sam Pletcher for a sequin 101 workshop! you’ll learn how to hand sew sequins and create your own sequin artwork to take home. Materials are provided so there’s no need to bring supplies, but, if you have fabric or sequins from home that you would like to use for the project, feel free to take them with you to the workshop! All attendees will walk away with their sequin artwork (with their chosen motifs) in a wooden embroidery hoop. Sewing skills are not necessary to participate; we will only be completing basic stitching in this workshop and learning how to do so will be covered. The last 15 minutes will be reserved for sharing what we made during the workshop.
