Polished Aragonite slab AR105

AR105 Aragonite slab, polished on one side. Dimensions at widest points approximately 140 mm x 90 mm x 6 - 7 mm thick.(slightly tapering) Weighs: 160 grams Aragonite is a calcium carbonate mineral. These specimens come from a salt lake in the Murchison region of Western Australia not far from the town of Mount Magnet. It is believed that calcium carbonate-rich water that has drained from surrounding hills into the highly saline water occurring in the lakes has formed the mineral.
