The oregano plant is a woody perennial herb that grows in the hot, dry mountains in the Mediterranean. The name 'Oregano' is derived from the Greeks as it is a combination of the Greek words oros (meaning mountain) and ganos (meaning joy), which together mean “joy of the mountains”. Our organic oregano oil is certified organic by the Soil Association. We are inspected annually to make sure we comply with their strict regulations.
