Gelovani Cellar - Kisi 2024

Kisi 2024 is a natural wine crafted by Gelovani Cellar, in the Kakheti region in Georgia. Made from Kisi grapes, this amber wine undergoes seven months of skin maceration, allowing the wine to develop its deep color, structure and layered character typical of traditional Kakhetian skin-contact wines. We have not yet tried this new 2024, but the previous vintage was rich and inviting, with aromas of ripe peach, dried apricot and hints of citrus, complemented by subtle earthy and nutty notes. The palate is full-bodied and textured, with firm, youthful tannins that give structure. Flavors of ripe fruit, a touch of honey and gentle spice lead into a long, warm finish.
