2024 Château La Tour de By Blanc

Château La Tour de By is best known for classic red Médoc, but in recent years the estate has started producing a small amount of white Bordeaux — and it’s a very interesting wine. Made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc, Blanc de La Tour de By is richer and more textured than many people expect from Bordeaux Blanc. Part of the wine is fermented and aged in oak barrels, which gives it extra depth and complexity while still keeping freshness and lift. You’ll find citrus and stone fruit alongside a subtle creamy texture and gentle oak influence. A great match for seafood, grilled fish, roast chicken or richer shellfish dishes.
