Pickup
Description We have developed pickups for almost all Meerklang instruments that can be mounted and dismounted externally in a single step. The pickup is pressed directly onto the wood using an adjusting screw. This ensures excellent sound pickup from the instrument, which can then be amplified directly via a guitar amplifier or PA system. (A standard guitar jack cable is also required. The cable is not included!) Compared to a microphone and all other pickup systems we know of for this type of instrument, the sound transmission is much more powerful, natural, and overall more satisfying. There is also less background noise and no more problems with feedback, especially when playing with other instruments. The development of these pickups was very important to us, also for our own sound events in larger venues. Since we started using them, the experience for visitors has become even more intense and direct.
