Midnight Set Black West Coast Pilsner

The midnight set rolls in - dark lines stacking up under the moon, clean and relentless. This West Coast Pilsner is ink-black in the glass but crisp, clean and refined in its delivery. Classic Hallertauer Mittelfrüh lays the hop foundation, bringing firm noble bitterness and subtle herbal notes. Pale and Dark Munich Malt bring body and complexity while Carafa III brings the blackness of midnight, but without any astringency. Late additions of Simcoe, Centennial and Nelson light up the darkness with bright pine, citrus peel and flashes of white grape and tropical fruit.
