2023 Kongsgaard Napa Valley Chardonnay

Kongsgaard Napa Valley Chardonnay comes from the estate’s original six-acre planting, with some vines dating back to the 1970s. These old, gnarled vines consistently produce a wine that feels entirely singular, vintage after vintage. Despite the natural variation each growing season brings, the vineyard shows remarkable steadiness, echoing the French belief that truly great sites transcend vintage conditions. The result is a Chardonnay with depth, character, and a strong sense of place, shaped as much by the age of the vines as by the careful, hands-on approach in the cellar.
