Five generations of the Berthier family have farmed along the Loire's riverbanks, from Sancerre to the Coteaux du Giennois. The domaine earned organic certification in 2022, using grassed vineyard rows and natural pest control. Their Chinon is [100% Cabernet Franc] from the Turonian limestone and gravel soils along the Vienne River that define the appellation. At 12.5% ABV, it's built for warm-weather drinking.
