When paired together in a stereo configuration or used as surrounds, they provide a significant upgrade over a single speaker. Spatial Audio & Dolby Atmos: Each Era 300 features six optimally positioned drivers all around the front, sides, and top. When paired, they project sound wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling, creating a "holographic" 3D audio experience. Superior Stereo Separation: A pair of Era 300s offers a wide, detailed soundstage, sending sound in all directions to create a deep, immersive sound "cloud". Home Theater Surrounds: Two Era 300 speakers can be paired with a Sonos Arc or Beam (Gen 2) to serve as rear channels, delivering highly realistic, multichannel surround sound with upward-firing height effects. Advanced Connectivity: The pair supports WiFi 6 for high-quality streaming and Bluetooth 5.3 for direct input. USB-C line-in is available on each speaker, allowing for connections to turntables or other audio devices via the Sonos Line-In Adapter (sold separately).
