4x5 Full Frame Viewer

This magnifying viewer slides onto the accessory rails of our 4x5 Deluxe Ground Glass Back. Unlike our Magnifying Viewer, this magnifies less (about 2X), and is physically larger, but covers the entire 4x5 image area, enabling you to see your entire image at once. By blocking stray light, it allows you to view your image without a handheld loupe, even outdoors in the sun, in sufficient detail to ascertain critical focus and framing. It accomplishes this with a very large lens. While this does have direct focus control like our Magnifying Viewer, it does have variable spacers that can be inserted to change the focal plane. It comes with an extra spacer, and more can be easily fabricated or requested from us.
