HENNY

HENNY is the outlier in our wool range, and deliberately so. Everything else here is a loop pile; HENNY is a twist — a cut pile, where the yarn tips are sheared open rather than left as closed loops. The difference is immediate underfoot: a deep, plush, slightly informal surface instead of a firm textured one. It is built for that feel. 59oz (2000gsm) of two ply 100% New Zealand wool at an 11mm pile height — the deepest pile we stock. The colours are made from undyed wool blends, so the natural greys and browns come from the fleece itself rather than a dye bath, and each shade carries the subtle variation that gives. Wool is warm underfoot in winter and cool in summer, it absorbs sound rather than reflecting it, it traps airborne dust in the pile instead of letting it circulate, and it is naturally flame and stain resistant without a chemical coating. Five colours: Moan, Verse, Ballad, Ode and Sonnet. Supplied in a 4 metre width, and backed by a 20 year residential wear warranty, a 10 year insect warranty and a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defect. Please note: HENNY is an indent range.
