This instrument is a highly limited homage to the birth of the Stratocaster, meticulously crafted by the FujiGen factory for Fender Japan's Custom Edition run. Produced in incredibly small numbers—often cited as a run of just 40—it’s an exceptionally rare find that commands immediate attention. The foundation is a resonant and lightweight ash body finished in lacquer, accented elegantly by gleaming gold hardware. It features a select maple neck with a soft "V" profile, treated with an oil finish that feels perfectly played-in from the very first touch. A striking visual detail is the custom 1-ply aluminum pickguard finished in baked white, offering a subtle textural contrast to the organic ash grain. Voiced by a set of hand-built DiMarzio Blue Velvet pickups, it delivers a phenomenal vintage tone that’s deliberate and immensely responsive.
