This lingerie dress is patterned based on extant examples and drafting and construction books from the turn of the century. It is made in two pieces so that you can wear the pieces separately, should you so desire, and also style the shirtwaist differently, depending on the time period you are representing. When you purchase a made-to-order item, you get the lingerie of your dreams by providing measurements for a custom fit and even purchasing extra available add-ons! Within 3-5 business days of receiving your order, I will send you a measurement worksheet listing the measurements required for a perfect fit. This lingerie dress includes: 100% cotton voile fabric (very sheer cotton) two pieces: a shirtwaist and a skirt 100% cotton insertion lace - pieced and shaped (lace may vary) OR a solid cotton fabric for the yoke, collar, and cuffs insertion lace in the skirt a high lace collar trimmed with a small lace ruffle a back button closure a long shirttail to allow for pigeon blouse front styling a wide ruffle on the skirt a small skirt train of 10-12" that includes a bustle It is pictured with a sash and other accessories, but none of these are included with the purchase of this listing. Measure your bust and waist to determine which size to order and choose your size based on the pictured sizing guidelines. To achieve the correct historical silhouette, this shirtwaist should be worn over combinations, a corset, and petticoat, but no combinations, corset, or petticoat are included with this listing.
