Old Soul Pitcher VI

Vintage Italian silver plated pitcher, a commemorative piece made to mark the silver jubilee of AIIA in 1970. The Associazione Italiana Industriali dell'Abbigliamento or the Italian Clothing Industry Association was founded in Milan on May 8, 1945, just thirteen days after the end of World War II. The pitcher is Art Deco in styling even and has a beautiful and solid construction. It has a thick layer of silver coating on possibly brass given the weight of the piece. The base has the engraving "Silver Jubilee 1945-1970 AIIA". It is in perfect functional condition and can also be used as a vase.
