Marimekko Acrylic Coated Cotton - Pieni Kukasta Kukkaan

This acrylic-coated cotton fabric features the Pieni Kukasta kukkaan pattern, which is printed in Helsinki. Thanks to the protective finish, the fabric is easy to wipe clean with a damp cloth. The cotton used in this product is 100% organic cotton. Marimekko's coated cotton fabrics are perfect for tablecloths, both indoors and outdoors, as they can be easily wiped clean after each meal. Finnish designer, Erja Hirvi brought the joyfully blossoming Kukasta kukkaan print to life during a burst of creativity at her summer retreat, fully immersed in floral inspiration. The loosely conceived pattern emerged as she painted, capturing the myriad ways flowers appear in nature. The Finnish name of the design translates to “from flower to flower” – a nod to the playful flight of bumblebees among summer blooms.
