Quetzal - Huehuetenango, Guatemala
High in Guatemala’s Huehuetenango region, between misty valleys and sun-drenched slopes, lies the birthplace of our Quetzal coffee. Named after the country’s national bird, a symbol of freedom and beauty. This coffee celebrates the farmers and families who keep Guatemala’s coffee heritage alive. At altitudes of 1,400–2,200 MASL, smallholder farmers grow Bourbon, Caturra, and Pache varietals in fertile highland soil. Each cherry is picked ripe, washed, and dried slowly under the sun, a process that brings out the region’s signature balance of fruit sweetness and dark chocolate depth. The result? A smooth, full-bodied cup with mellow nectarine notes, gentle acidity, and a clean, sweet finish. It’s a comforting, all-day coffee, where every sip feels like tracing new trails through familiar comfort.
