Teardrop Boulder Opal Buried in Gemstone Fringe Necklace

This teardrop of boulder opal has yummy streaks of color--I had to take full advantage. I wrapped it in a bezel of 22k buttery gold and framed it in a lush fringe of gemstones--amazonite, london blue topaz, chrysoprase, rhodolite garnet, tanzanite and swiss blue topaz. An 18k gold bail suspends the pendant from a strand of polished turquoise and a pleasantly plump drop of tanzanite dangles below from coiled 14k. This necklace adjusts from 16 to 18 inches.
