Harptone "Bullshead" 17" Archtop Hardshell Case (c.1952)

A black hardshell case, sized for archtop Gibson and Epiphone guitars. The "Bullshead" Harptone cases were offered in 17" lower bout width and other sizes. Fitted with Excelsior brass latches. The exterior is frayed and peeling, and the plush green interior shows moderate wear for over 70 years of service. Double raised diamond on accessory pocket lid. LB ~17-1/4, UB ~13-1/2", Inside length ~42" and ~5" depth. Perfect for your vintage or modern jazz box. Made in Newark, New Jersey.
