1960s “Mrs Beetons Cookery and Household Management ”

I love Mrs Beetons. I have my own one that was published in the 1940s and I love paging through it. It’s fascinating!. “Mrs Beetons Household Management” and "Family Cookery" was the ultimate guide to running an efficient Victorian household. It covered everything from cooking, to etiquette, to laundry work and table decoration. It was first published in 1861 and she was only 21. This is a 1960s edition with wonderful photographs. I love old books - the smell, the detail, the stories. But they also make wonderful decorative accessories to add a splash of colour, patina and history. Gorgeous for kitchen styling.
