Rasor GRT-MINIV 3-Phase Direct Drive Cutting Unit

The model GRT-MINIV is the smallest three-phase cutting unit with a carbide counter-blade. For many years within the market, it is installed on the main tentering machines. The GRT-MINIV is a powerful tool, yet still small and light (weighing in at less than 3 Kg.). It stands out from other Rasor models as the motor is installed in a vertical position, upright to the cutting direction. The 5-edged knife guarantees a clean cut without rag grinding, and the new semi-automatic sharpening stone sharpens the blade in less than 10 seconds without removing the knife. The GRT-MINIV is widely used for textile, leather, light carpet and technical fabric applications. The three-phase induction motor is balanced and noiseless. As this cutting unit does not need any regular maintenance it can be easily used during a 24-hour production process. The GRT-MINIV is ideal for transversal cutting and is arranged with an anchor flange to be easily adjusted on a fixed or automated hanger. The aluminium base is Teflon® coated to reduce friction with the material and can be installed on sliding rails within a small space. The minimal maintenance and handling costs make the model GRT-MINIV a great value reliable cutting solution for any O.E.M. application.
