On this day, our monks will gather to recite the Praises to the Twenty-One Taras and offer prayers for the protection, healing, and longevity of all who sponsor and are remembered in the puja. You can have your name or a loved one's name included in the prayers. Tara Puja is a ritual of offering and prayer centered on the deity Tara (known in Tibetan as Jetsun Dolma), who is revered as the "Mother of all Buddhas" and the embodiment of enlightened activity and compassion.
