Streamlight TLR-VIR® II Weapon Light The Streamlight TLR-VIR® II is a powerful tactical weapon light with an integrated infrared illuminator and IR laser. The compact light combines white LED light with an 850nm IR illuminator/IR laser in a seamless housing – ideal for use with night vision devices. With its robust construction and simple operation, the TLR-VIR® II is suitable for both pistols and long guns with a MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny Rail and is specifically compatible with M17/M18 pistols. Note: The TLR-VIR® II is primarily designed for weapons with a MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny Rail. Night vision devices are required for using the IR illuminator/IR laser. How do I change the battery on the TLR-VIR® II? Changing the battery requires removing the light unit from the weapon. Please follow these steps: Ensure the weapon is safely unloaded and no ammunition is nearby. Remove the weapon light from the weapon by loosening the mounting device. Open the battery compartment cover at the rear end of the weapon light. Remove the used battery and replace it with a new CR123A Lithium battery. Close the battery compartment and reattach the weapon light to the weapon. It is important to regularly check the battery and replace it when necessary to ensure the weapon light is always ready for use.
