Roofix Matt Protective Coating 5L
Protect and waterproof roof surfaces with Roofix Matt Protective Coating 5L — a high-performance flexible coating from FLAG Paints, designed to provide reliable waterproofing protection for roofs, gutters, flashing and exterior surfaces. Roofix is formulated with built-in Draylon fibre reinforcement, helping create a tough, flexible protective layer that can be applied straight from the tin. Suitable for flat and gently sloped roofs, it is ideal for use on roofing felt, asphalt, cement, metal, lead flashing, slates, gutters, bay windows, porches and more. Available in Black, Grey or White, Roofix provides a practical matt finish while helping protect against water ingress. With correct surface preparation and application, Roofix can deliver long-term waterproofing protection for up to 10 years. Designed for brush application, Roofix should be applied in a single coat where possible, with porous surfaces or steeper areas potentially requiring additional thin coats. It can also be used on both vertical and horizontal surfaces, making it a versatile choice for roof repairs, maintenance and protection. Remove stones, moss, lichens, algae or other organic growth before use to support long-term adhesion. Product Preparation: Stir Roofix thoroughly before use to ensure an even consistency. Roofix contains built-in Draylon fibre reinforcement and should not be applied by roller, as this may create an uneven texture. Brush application is recommended. Application: Apply straight from the tin in a single coat. As a guide, 1 litre generally covers 1m². Porous surfaces may require an additional coat. For steeper roofs, apply in multiple thin coats to help prevent slumping. Roofix can be applied in wet conditions in emergencies, but pooled water should be removed before application. Do not overcoat with standard paints, as the flexible Roofix surface may prevent proper adhesion.
