Would suit commuters and leisure rides on gravelly paths. Light in the Pedals It's hard to explain this one, but on some e-bikes it feels like the pedals are 'racing away from you' and on others it feels like the pedals want you to keep 'stomping down on them'. On this bike, it's neither of these. You simply pedal as you normally do, and you get a light pedalling action which gives the ride a feeling of freedom. It's not aggressive like an eMTB, it's simply stress-free riding. Agility There's something about this e-bike which makes it really agile. When we test-rode it, it was virtually impossible not to do some extra turns and manoeuvres. It really responds well to the rider's steering. We thinks it's to do with how well balanced the bike is, and how good the front forks are, which is something Scott Sports engineers and designers do very well. If you're someone who wants to feel more confident with riding a bike, this will give you that, because you'll always feel in control. Dynamic in Sport Mode Many riders like to ride in Eco mode to get as much mileage out as possible. Others ride in Turbo mode because they enjoy the aggressive acceleration. We found that this bike gave its best ride in Sports mode. It feels dynamic and responsive, and overall it gives you the feeling that you can do anything on the bike without it ever feeling like the bike is 'taking over' from you.
