Vintage gold-filled sterling silver heart locket from the 1940s with an engraved floral design. Lockets from this era are referred to as "Sweetheart Lockets" because soldiers would purchase them for their wives and mothers. Era: 1940s Markings: L.S. Co. 1/20 12k Over Sterling Measurements: Approx. 3/4" x 3/4" at the widest part. Comes with a new 18” gold filled chain. Condition: Excellent vintage condition with minor surface wear from age.
