Vegetable-dyed wool is a beautiful natural fibre that usually contains high levels of lanolin, making it very practical. Kelim is woven using hand-dyed yarn in both the warp and the weft. The patterns produced are often identified by the region where they are made, and the designs are passed down from mother to daughter through generations.
