Colombia CGLE CGLE-17 Comp. Washed
2017 was a polarizing year to release projects out into the world. Star Wars: The Last Jedi premiered to extremely mixed reviews, angering beyond reason some of the most friendless people on the internet. For some reason The Shape of You by Ed Sheeran was f*cking everywhere. You know what, I’ll be brave and say it- some things are better left in the past. 2017 wasn’t all bad– as a matter of fact, some of its highs have really stood the test of time: Kendrick’s DAMN, Breath of the Wild, Jordan Peele’s Get Out, and of course CGLE-17. First planted in 2017 after years of trial and error, the hybrid of gesha & caturra has become one of our favorite coffees here at Friedhats. This year as we try to narrow down coffees to be used for Siebe’s upcoming World Barista Champ run, this CGLE-17 Competition Lot was an early favorite so we hope you enjoy it as much as we have.
