Fresh Edible Flowers - German Chamomile

The tiny (1 inch), daisy-like flowers of Chamomile (Matricaria recutita) are used fresh as a garnish with a fruity (like apples some say!) and slightly bitter floral taste. New! We get so many requests for chamomile flowers on short stems so we decided to offer this as a standalone option! See the product option above for flowers with 3" stems. Please be advised that chamomile flowers close at night. Most, if not all of your flowers, are likely to arrive with the petals downward or closed. We cannot change the nature of this flower. If you need your flowers in a completely open position, you will need to flatten the petals against a solid background once they arrive or you may want to choose another similar flower, such as feverfew, that stays open. Since Chamomile is a cool-season flower, there is only a short window of harvest from early June through early July.
