Antique Hammersley & Co. Blue Willow Side Plates

Hammersley & Co. produced Blue Willow pattern transferware, often in earthenware or stoneware during the Victorian era (mid-to-late 19th century). These pieces feature traditional chinoiserie scenes of willow trees, pagodas, birds & bridges in vivid blue & white. Perfect for use as a side plate for salads or desserts. They would also look very pretty hung as part of a collection on the wall. In excellent antique condition, with some minor fading, including to the plates’ gold rim. 18cm diameter each.
