Porsche IP84S lounge chair for Interprofil, Germany, circa 1984, designed by Ferdinand Alexander Porsche. This comfortable and adjustable armchair features a distinctive high-tech aesthetic typical of 1980s design. The chair was produced by Interprofil GmbH in Fernwald, Germany, and features a white lacquered aluminium frame, grey leather upholstery and a removable leather headrest. The integrated adjustment mechanism allows the chair to be placed in a relaxed lounge or reclining position. Fully extended, the chair offers a comfortable reclining length of approximately 174 cm. The dimensions are approximately 120 × 120 × 72.5 cm (W×D×H), with a seat height of 45 cm. The chair is marked “IP84S – Design by F.A. Porsche”. The condition of this Porsche IP84S lounge chair is good and original, with signs of use consistent with age, including minor wear to the lacquered frame. The leather has a beautiful natural patina.
