Central Park, Bridges & Arches, Landscape Map

Paper size: 14 x 18" and 18 x 24 inches Color: Deep Turquoise (water)/ Dark Blue(text & outlines) or Celadon (water)/Black (text & outlines) Sold framed and unframed. This piece was such a labor of love. I had wanted to make a map of Central Park for so long but I also felt challenged by the park's narrowness. It felt to me like it needed something else to make the piece balanced. So embarked on drawing the architectural highlights of the park: namely the unique bridges and arches that were constructed during the 19th century. No two are the same and they have so much artistry in them. It took me two years to draw all of the main bridges and arches of Central Park.
