The Character Series is an expression of varietal distinction. Each wine has an intrinsic link to the personality of the winemaker, the grower and the artist. The Architect is a pale straw yellow. The nose is vibrant and fresh with stone fruit and hints of citrus and white florals. A bright palate with depth of fruit, savoury characteristics and creamy nuances. A bright citrus acidity gives the wine clarity and drive. This vintage without a doubt it had its challenges! Consistent rain throughout the season and cool temperatures which allowed us to make delicate crisp whites and perfumed light reds. Chardonnay has the ability to shine in Orange in almost any vintage. Lighter citrus fruit with subtle texture in the cooler years to medium body with stone fruit in the warmer years. This is a classic cool climate chardonnay.
