Wooden Mug Lid With 2026 Annual Design and Personal Engraving

For the second time, we are offering a special edition to commemorate the Bavarian national festival. It is made of beech wood, and the tangibly deep engraving can even be individually customized at the bottom edge, for example, with initials, a name, or even a trip motto. For this, we use UnifrakturMaguntia. We recommend checking the engraving's typeface before ordering to avoid any misunderstandings. Please add each lid, along with the desired engraving, to your shopping cart individually. Please note that we will engrave exactly what we receive. For example, we do not automatically add periods to monograms. For shipping to a hotel, please enter the hotel name with "c/o" preceding it as the company name and the arrival date in the additional address line. The recipient's name should match the name on the hotel reservation. What's on It? Inspired by this year's dance season, we have chosen to honour Munich’s cooper dance this year. Since the coopers (Schäffler) are inseparably linked to Oktoberfest and appear there every year for good reason, our cooper, swinging a schnaps glass on a barrel hoop, stands in front of a view of the former Mozartstraße, as it appeared similarly on a postcard almost a hundred years ago. To the left and right of the street, which was later named after Matthias Pschorr, there are numerous stalls, on the left a wooden roller coaster and several tents, including the Ochsenbraterei to the left of the Bavaria, the Weinburg front right and behind it the Löwenbräuzelt and the Winzerer Fähndl at their locations that still exist today. The whole motif is framed by a boxwood arch, such as those used for the cooper dance. On the signs to the left and right of the barrel are the Münchner Kindl and a simplified Wiesnkini coat of arms (WK). What Is a Mug Lid Good For? Anyone who doesn't want to worry about anything falling into their mug due to wasp infestation or every gust of wind will appreciate a wooden mug lid. Especially at the Oktoberfest, when things are quite crowded, it not only protects against roasted almonds, beer coasters, or anything else we've seen flying through the beer tent airspace, but also particularly impresses with its built-in identification function. This way, no mugs are swapped, and your own is still easy to find even after a trip to the restroom. In addition, it prevents premature clearing by particularly diligent waitstaff. It is priced such that it pays for itself from the first saved Oktoberfest beer. Does It Only Fit on Liter Mugs? The lid has almost exactly the dimensions of a one-liter Isarseidel. However, because the lower disk, which prevents it from falling off, has a smaller radius, it also fits on half-liter mugs, pint glasses, wine glasses, and many more. Thanks to the great achievements of our research department, the lids are suitable for both light and dark beer, wheat beer, or even an Imperial Baltic Black Forest Vanilla Flavored Raspberry Pastry Stout. So, all of them, really. It has even been known to protect a Sarti Spritz. Is It Also Available at the Oktoberfest? No, the Wiesnkini mug lids are exclusively available from us. Individual engraving would also be difficult to implement on-site. We don’t brand; we engrave, which gives the lid a beautiful, tangible relief. How to Save On Shipping Fees? Can You Deliver to My Hotel? Those living overseas may be unhappy about the elevated shipping cost. This is especially the case for US-based customers, who saw a steep increase in shipping fees following the end of the de-minimis rule in August 2025. If you’re coming to Munich this year, you can use your hotel’s address and pay only German fees. In this case, use the hotel name with a leading “c/o” in the company address field and add your date of arrival, e.g. “Arriving September 26,” to the additional address field.
