FREE SUMMER CLASS – Learn the Shim Sham (25/06)

Time and place Kursus-start / Course start: 25-06-2026 (stand-alone class) Weekday: Thursday Time: 19:00 – 20.10 Location: Idrætsfabrikken, Valdemarsgade 12, 1665 Copenhagen V Teachers: Benedikte & Lars Price: FREE FOR MEMBERS Information Come and learn – or re-learn – the Shim Sham; the solo jazz routine used all over the world in connectipn to Lindy Hop Dance events. Level: Everybody who have been through a beginners’ Lindy Hop course are very welcome! Minimum level requirement This class is the continuation class for people who have been through at least 1 round of Hepcats Beginners’ level or have 6+ weeks of experience at other swing dance communities. We expect you to be familiar with basic swing dancing Prior dancing at Hepcats is not a requirement – but you need a membership for spring 2026 (60 DKK). We welcome all dancers as long as you meet the requirements outlined above Membership Hepcats Copenhagen is a non-profit organisation. To take classes with us you need to buy a membership. Memberships are sold for either the spring or autumn season. If you have not purchased a membership for the current season please add one from the Membership and other items sections when booking your course.
