Bruce Jack, 'Tumbleweed Wild,' Chenin Blanc
The vineyards are located in various locations within Swartland with its 'American Wild West' aspect on rolling rugged hills facing the sea, capturing the essence of this pioneering spirit. The area enjoys a Mediterranean type climate with mostly red deep soils combined with some sandy ones. Vines are mainly trellised with some grown as bush vines and the grapes are hand harvested. Aromas of ripe quince, pear, and a touch of wildflower honey. The palate is crisp and dry, with vibrant acidity and flavours of green apple, citrus, and a hint of minerality. The finish is long and refreshing. Grape: Chenin Blanc Region: Swartland Country: South Africa ABV: 12.5% Vintage: 2024
