Bourgogne Pinot Noir ‘Vielle Vigne’

Calling this the entry point to the range is like calling the Ritz a place to sleep. Technically true, but wildly insufficient. Drawn exclusively from the Côte de Nuits, with fruit from Gevrey-Chambertin, Fixin and Nuits-Saint-Georges, this is Bourgogne Rouge with proper pedigree. It is bright, silky and lifted, full of red cherry, wild strawberry, crushed raspberry and rose petal, with fine tannins, fresh acidity and a little savoury Côte de Nuits grip. Pure Fourrier, just in its most immediate, joyous form.
